However, do not flippantly put up your feet on the seats next to yours or on the backrest of the seat in front of you. You can do anything you want to stay comfortable as long as there is no one sitting on that seat.
No taking pictures. It is an illegal act and you may get fined for it. There is actually nothing more annoying for the people in the dark room off of the theater than a phone or a camera flashing intermittently. Not only can that be distracting, you will also be annoying them.
When you want to talk, you better do it in a whisper. Do not be too loud in a theater. Just like in a library, silence is highly appreciated.
